With 2025 less than a week away, I wanted to share a bunch of my favourite journaling prompts. My year is catching up to me, so I’ve decided to hibernate for a few days and take some time to recharge. Written reflection is important not only to meditate on our past, but to inspire our future. I always feel so motivated after I journal— whether writing or scrapbooking with photos. Including manifestations or affirmations is something that works for me, so I focus on what makes me feel better and leave what doesn’t. These prompts can be used to reflect on the past year, tune in to the present, or set goals for the future on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis.
If journaling is something you’d like to get into but doesn’t come easy for you, I highly suggest investing in a structured journal with a cover that you love, and working on it in a convenient place. Making habits attractive, easy, and convenient have shown to subconsciously make us want to do it more. The most ideal journal I’ve found for this is The Best Year Journal. I highly recommend the Intelligent Change brand in general— creators of The 5-minute Journal, they have various products. Therapy Notebooks is also a great brand if you’re looking for something more mental-health focused.

talk about what you’d want your ideal daily life in 2025 to look like. the time you wake up, an exercise routine, a creative routine, work-life balance, content creation, any traveling, etc. I include photos when I do this prompt!
